I am driven by a profound love for painting and a firm belief in the power of art to make the world a more beautiful place. My work is about more than creating aesthetically pleasing objects; it's about fostering understanding, sharing knowledge, and serving my community. Each brushstroke is an attempt to unlock the hidden depths of human emotion, to reveal the unique story every individual has to tell.

As a portrait painter and art instructor, I focus on capturing the essence of the spirit and teaching art to people of all ages and abilities. My background in day program activities for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities has greatly influenced my approach, allowing me to appreciate the vast spectrum of human experience and expression. This experience has equipped me with the patience and empathy necessary to guide others in their artistic journeys, regardless of their background or abilities.

Ultimately, my art is an extension of myself—a means to connect with others, to teach, and to learn. It is a tool through which I aim to contribute positively to my community, while also pursuing a sustainable career that allows me to live my passion every day. In creating and teaching, I find my purpose, continuously striving to share the transformative power of art with the world.
